Tour Turkmenistan.The Golden Age.

Kazakh traditional dance

Visit one of the most mysterious countries in the Central Asia where ancient history of thr Silk Road is intertwined with modern development and striking nature. This area was ruled by various Persian empires, conquered by Alexander the Great, Turkic warriors, Muslim crusaders, the Mongols, and finally in the 19th century was added to the Russians Empire. In 1924, Turkmenistan became a Soviet republic. The country achieved independence upon the dissolution of the USSR in 1991. Exploration of the extensive natural gas reserves has transformed the country. Gas export provided substantial funds for building infrastructure and supporting social programs.

The personality cult of Saparmurat Niyazov, the first president of independent Turkmenistan provides interesting comparison to that of the Soviet leaders such as Lenin and Stalin. Turkmenistan is the country which inherited unique world-wide famous monuments. Our tour will bring you to UNESCO recognized world's ancient cities such as Kunya-Urgench, Merv and Nisa.
